This Privacy Policy describes how GeoSpot ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2.1 Firebase Firestore (Google)
The App retrieves daily photo challenges — including photo URLs, photographer credits, and associated geographic coordinates — from a Firebase Firestore database operated by us. This is a one-way, read-only connection. No user data is written to or stored in Firebase.
2.2 Flag Images (flagcdn.com)
Flag images used in the FlagHunt game mode are loaded from the public CDN at flagcdn.com. No user data is sent to this service; the App simply requests a flag image file by country code.
2.3 Apple Maps / MapKit
The App uses Apple's MapKit framework to display interactive maps and to reverse-geocode photo coordinates into readable place names. This is subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).
The App may ask for permission to send you local push notifications that remind you when a new daily challenge is available. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external messaging service. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
The App integrates the following third-party SDKs:
We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or crash-reporting services. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Ads are explicitly disabled in our configuration.
All data stored by the App resides locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App. We do not retain any copies of your data on our servers.
The App does not collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since the App collects no personal data from any user, it is suitable for users of all ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Because no personal data is transmitted off your device, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal information is minimal. Game data stored locally is protected by your device's own security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, encryption).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
